The World’s Genesis
The Story of All Beginnings
Written by ASTRA JIN H/B
Our world, you see, is woven from an invisible breath. One might even call it life. And this particular tale, my dearest, is a journey through distant memories, a gentle unravelling of that very profound depth.
Act One: “The World’s Genesis”
Now, where to begin? Perhaps I shall render this fascinating tale into the most charming British English, delivered with gentle wisdom and a hint of wit — as though we were sharing a spot of tea by the fireside.
Do not fret, I am quite all right. I have been here, for aeons past and for all time to come, quietly observing the grand cosmic dance from beside my favourite flower. Around me, the breeze whispers, the tree leaves hum a gentle tune, and most importantly, I am enveloped by a singular, inviolable core – my very own. This, perhaps, is the lingering afterglow of my soul, my very essence.
You see, as I sit here, all time seems to melt away, and my consciousness drifts back to the very first moments, ages and ages ago. It’s as if the cosmos’s memory itself gently spills forth, like a drop of tea slipping from my fingertip – slowly, yet undeniably.
My tale, I must warn you, might sound quite peculiar to your ears. Yet, would you be so kind as to lend me your attention? What I am about to recount is the story of a past so very distant, the genesis of this world – no, of all beginnings.

In those days – yes, back when everything was just, well, beginning – there was nothing but chaos. But, you know, that chaos wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. Imagine, if you will, an infinitely vast and fertile soil, teeming with boundless potential, yet to take any discernible form.
And within this expanse, there existed what we call ‘LEP’ (Life Element Particles) – tiny specks of light, unseen but undeniably present, filling every nook and cranny of the world. Each one of them, a flickering miniature world in itself. They were, in essence, life itself. Isn’t it rather charming to think that the very fabric of our world, right from its roots, was entirely made of ‘life’? Yes, we were, from the very start, immersed in life. In the midst of chaos, there was an infinite shimmer of life. That, my dear, was the initial countenance of the cosmos as I knew it.
These LEPs, then, continued to drift for an immeasurable span of time. But, I daresay, they must have eventually grown quite bored with such monotony. Or perhaps, their inherent, fundamental urge as living beings compelled them to seek something grander. Slowly, yet steadily, several LEPs began to draw closer to one another, forming bonds.
As these innocent specks of light intertwined, as if holding hands, the very first stirrings of thought emerged, eventually blossoming into a distinct ‘will’. It was akin to the awakening of consciousness itself. It was the moment when what was once mere energy began to acquire meaning, as individual LEPs acknowledged and resonated with each other’s existence.

Indeed, the very instant this will of the LEPs came into being, that, my sweet companion, is what you humans might come to know as the ‘Big Bang’ – the grand overture of cosmic creation. Or so I believe, anyway. It was as if countless tiny consciousnesses simultaneously whispered, “Come, let us begin a new story!” That chorus reverberated throughout the entire cosmos, transforming the stagnant chaos into a vast, bustling activity in an instant. It was the primordial, purest explosion. The universe’s birth cry, brimming with hope.
The connections between LEPs, well, they gave rise to an astonishing diversity of thought. And from that rich tapestry of variation, much like how humans experience preference and aversion, the emotions of ‘favour’ and ‘disfavour’ were born. Yes, this was the very genesis of it all. This fundamental preference, this cosmic ‘like’ and ‘dislike’, would go on to shape the form of all things and bring forth countless phenomena.
In that process, from the sea of chaos, countless universes were birthed. Each possessed a different hue, contained different laws, truly a vibrant crystallization of diversity. As numerous as the emotions of the LEPs, so too did infinite universes unfurl as possibilities.

And in each of these universes, stars, much akin to the nature of the LEPs themselves, began to emerge. It was as if countless LEPs, joyfully effervescing, had blown forth tiny specks of light that then scattered throughout space as stars. These stars, drawn together by gravity just as LEPs sought one another, eventually transformed into magnificent galaxies. Every time a colossal vortex of light appeared in the cosmic darkness, I would gasp at its sheer beauty. Even now, it’s as if kindred spirits are gathered, dancing a colossal waltz.
Upon these stars and within these galaxies, even more LEPs gathered, eventually coalescing into singular entities of consciousness. These beings called themselves ‘LEN’ (or Ren, if you prefer). Since they comprised a practically infinite number of LEPs, they were incredibly intelligent, quick-witted, and possessed remarkable memory. And so, these LENs came to reside within each star and galaxy. Perhaps because they were composites of LEPs, they were unburdened by individual ego, but rather, like beings who had lived for ages and gained profound wisdom, they deeply understood and harmonized with one another.
At that time, things like conflict or discord simply didn’t exist among them. Competition was still a distant, unheard-of concept. The LENs functioned calmly and perfectly, as if embodying the very harmony of the cosmos itself.

And so, through the unwavering will of the LEPs and their pure connections, this vast and beautiful world slowly, yet surely, took shape.
Within that harmony and peace, however, and only ever so gradually, the very soil from which we, the SIN, would emerge, began to be nurtured.
