The first work to win both the Hugo and Nebula Awards.
Have you heard of Dune? It’s this epic sci-fi novel written by Frank Herbert back in 1965. It was originally published in two separate serials in Analog magazine—Dune World in ’63-’64 and Prophet of Dune in ’65. So get this, it tied with Roger Zelazny’s This Immortal for the Hugo Award and then snagged the first-ever Nebula Award for Best Novel in ’66. It’s the first book in the Dune Chronicles and one of the best-selling sci-fi novels out there.
